The UK R2D2 Builders Club

Hello All reading this, I am half way through my build I have the R2 complete, paint and electronics is the next step, I will hopefully paint soon and then wait until winter to spend indoors doing the eledctronics ready for some events next year.

Interesting to see a UK site, I am not sure there are enough people building to gain enough interest for a viable website but thought I had best join rather than lurking around moaning there isnt enough UK support.

Hi all, im Hylton from portsmouth ,ive been a r2 builder member for 3 years. ive so far ive completed the dome and body ,but with work and father duties i find it hard to finish r2 ! i have loads of files and would love to help with questions, so drop me a line . Hylton

Thats a good site I have seen some of their meets and they are well represented not just R2 or star wars creations but daleks B9 etc.
