Greetings Fellow Builders
I literally stumbled across this site a few mins ago much to my delight. What a superb tool to use for us UK crew.
Up until now we had been using the Main Builders Club Mail facility, and I have started a UK R2D2 Builders Group on Facebook that has been quite handy for sharing photos and comments on.
A few of us are off to London Film and Comic Convention next weekend, where there shall be 6 confirmed Droids and a fair few parts on display. The aim is to get the UK side of things a bit more organised as we are not as fortunate to have all the events that the USA have, but we can and will do what we can from here.
My Build is a year and a half into the process and will be Radio Controlling it very soon.
Would live to hear from any of you UK Builders that are not already known to me - believe me, theres more of us out there than you realise.
