Plastic skins to a wooden frame
Whats the best method for attaching plastic skins to a wooden frame, am I best to glue and would that be stronger.
I am thinking stapling would be sufficent. |

RE: Plastic skins to a wooden frame
Do you mean styrene skins are they white did you get then from the US. from the astromech. net site ?
Thats where mine are from. I have read on other sites using no nails, and then stapling the inner skin in position and then using stryene glue to put the outer skin in place. This is what Im going to do ! |

RE: Plastic skins to a wooden frame
hi Ive made mine out of 1 mm PVC sheeting cut out to blue print spec by hand but not sure myself yet what would be the best way to fix them probably with glue and screws just behind the shoulders
my frame is completely made out of M.D.F. |
