I used a spare wheelchair system to power my R2 unit. He works but seems to go a touch slow forward and reverse. Fine rotating. I have altered the sensitivity switch but it makes no difference.

If ever you want an event to attend with your robot, the Roaming Robots people will probably be happy to have you along. I know they have a SW presence when they run the UK Robot Wars events in about May time in Brentwood (usually). Send them an email.
